The Dagger of Amon Ra

The Dagger of Amon Ra is the second part of the adventures of detective girl Laura Bowe, which began in Colonel’s Bequest.

Several years have passed since the events of the first part. Laura graduated from college, moved to New York and now works as a correspondent in a major print publication. And then one day a valuable ancient exhibit was stolen from the Egyptian hall of the National Museum. The newspaper sends Laura to investigate the events, to which our heroine, who has matured but has not lost her youthful enthusiasm, is very, very happy. Further - everything is the same as in the first part: mysticism, murders, wandering around the museum, dialogues, investigations, riddles ...

The graphics of the game improved dramatically. Now we have a beautiful interactive cartoon. But for some reason I want to play it much less than in a somewhat naive externally and internally, but such a wonderful first part. If earlier we had a brave and honest girl under our management, now we are managing a young woman who knows all aspects of life and who, for the sake of achieving her own goal, is quite capable of committing some not-so-good deed. Also, for some reason, a love line was added to the game, so there was also a place here for kisses and hugs that were completely unsuitable for this mystical story. I am ashamed of the developers.

The verdict is a good, in general, quest, curious, but far from the best even in general, and as a continuation of the Colonel’s Bequest, it’s completely sad. Fans of quests as such - it is quite possible to see, fans of the first part - is not recommended. Let Laura in your hearts forever remain a young and innocent girl whose honor is above success.
