Happy Birthday is another cute game from our children's box, based on the well-known stories of Alan Milne about Winnie-the-Pooh Bear and his friends.
We find ourselves in a small but very bright world where Finney's bear cub lives - the main character of the game - and just today he is celebrating his birthday! In the evening, all the friends will gather to congratulate the little bear, but now he needs our help - the envelopes with invitations are still not sent out, and friends still need something to treat, and stocks of goodies, unfortunately, have dried up. Therefore, together with the main character, we set off on a journey through a large forest — you need to properly prepare for the triumph so that no one is left at the celebration without attention.
The game begins with a very nice video comic drawn with colored pencils, which is, in fact, one big spoiler - from the video you can learn not only about the purpose of the journey, but also about all the features of the fairy-tale world: the flowers here bloom with one touch, and the big oak grows cones, which tend to fall on the head of everyone who passes under it. Since the game is focused on children (obviously preschool and primary school, if you like, age), then this moment does not bother, but, on the contrary, can serve as a player's check on attentiveness.
Happy Birthday fully justifies the title of a child's game: puzzles to be solved in the process do not cause difficulties (although they develop logic and reaction), everyone will master the management of the bear (we have the classical method "point'n'click" before us), and die the game can not be - even if an error is made in the actions, Finney will be transferred to the very beginning of the current puzzle.
It is worth noting the educational moment - the game is taught English, and if you click on any object or creature with the right mouse button, we will hear the name of the subject and see its writing. Moreover, the words should be remembered, because they will be necessary to complete most puzzles!
The pleasant cartoonish drawing of heroes and objects (especially fruits and berries are so delicious!) Is very pleasing to the eye, and almost every one of them will somehow react to the touch with the cursor. The music and sound will also not leave the player indifferent and immerse themselves in the fabulous atmosphere of the game.
Unfortunately, all of this is not enough for the game to receive the highest rating - it can hardly be called complexity at all, and it is unlikely for an adult player to be of any interest, but you can and should make a personal list for Happy Birthday . Little game lovers will be very pleased.
